My back has been feeling much better and my other workouts have intensified so I decided to try and see what I could do on a trail run again. In order to not over do it, I opted to just run up to flag rock from my house, a distance of about 1.7 miles if you stay on the trail. It took me 32 minutes to go the 1.7 miles, so I'm slow. On the plus side, I made it with only walking twice, on the two steepest parts of the trail. I felt fine when I reached the top and ran back down. By the bottom my quads were sore but my back was still fine. I'm going to try and do 3 a day for the next week and see how that feels then take it from there.

3 miles on the treadmill while watching the football game.  I had hoped to run back up to flag rock but my quads are shot from sunday. I kept it at a 2% incline the whole time and kept the pace above 6MPH.

I had to leave town on Wednesday of last week for work. I planned on running when I got to my hotel but they didn't have a treadmill and the roads were icy so I did burpee ladders in my room instead.  Not the same but still a good workout.

By Sunday I was ready to be outside running again and Flag Rock was calling my name. I blazed the trail through the snow up to the Flag and back.
