Solo up farmington canyon. Crazy how warm and nice it is once you get out of the inversion.

3:18:21; Up the canyon again.  I didn't get high enough yesterday to realize that the moguls get worse by the campground area. Today I made it to the junction where the road splits and goes up to bountiful peak or over to francis peak. The snow up above the inversion is melting nicely, which made for slow going on the way up and a nice cushiony run on the way down.

10 up the canyon with the davis county boys.  Nice group of guys, though I spent about half of the uphill trip looking at their backs.

1 hour on the TM in ladder format.  Started at 10 minute miles for a warm up and increased the speed by .1 mph every 5 minutes.  I went from 6mph to begin with up to 7.1.  Felt difficult at the end, probably because my training has been crap.

AM: 7 mile shorty up the canyon. Much quicker in the daylight.

PM: 5 more on the TM

Slower today because my legs felt fatigued. I wonder how fast I could have done 10 if I had enough time yesterday.

FYI: its not sunny above the inversion either.

These weren't really easy miles, but not really marathon pace either.

I hit my monthly billable quota yesterday around noon so I decided that I could afford to take the afternoon to go for a run.  My coworkers were pretty worried that I would smell bad when I got back and gave me some crap for going but its pretty out there today and I couldn't resist.

I decided to go up city creek since it is right by the office. I didn't want to run the trail because I've heard it's pretty muddy, so I stuck to the road. The up miles were between the low 8's and mid 9's per mile, and the down miles were lower 7's.  I made it round trip in just a hair over 40 minutes.

I feel much better now. I hope I can start making this a more regular thing.
