I've been sick for a week almost exactly. It was a little rough coming back. Not due to motivation, but because I got out of my groove. I may have also tackled a tougher course than I should have for my comeback run. In the first mile and a half I climbed 555 feet. After that I was pretty much exhausted. It's good to be back though. Here are the split details: 9:23, 10:35, 8:20, 9:09, 9:14, 9:30, 9:43. Since my goal half marathon time is 1:45, or 8 min miles, I've clearly got some work to do. But those hills today will certainly help. |
